Mobilizing to grow MCLD: 15 organizations are leading the charge to mobilize a formal National Association in Colombia in 2025.

MDLC Colombia is made up of grassroots organizations of all kinds, many of them located in the Valle del Cauca area. The organizations in Colombia are particularly interested in working on human rights and peace issues. They hope to build a “juntanza” – a way of working together between typically marginalized communities and organizations to achieve their objectives and create internal and external collaborative relationships, taking advantage of the strengths of the community and local leadership.
