We organize a variety of calls to explore pertinent topics, engage in meaningful dialogues, and hear perspectives within and beyond our global network. Learn more about our events and join us!
Event Series
Global Monthly Calls
These calls are opportunities to explore key topics in international development and hear perspectives within our global network. They feature discussions led by MCLD members and partners or guest speakers. They take place monthly on the last Wednesday of the month.
Leadership Development calls
Smaller group events focused on connection and co-creation. We brainstorm, learn, and lean on our sense of community. They take place monthly on the third Wednesday of the month.
(Un)Learning Labs
This is a series focused on mutual capacity strengthening and facilitated by an MCLD member or ally. Workshops center around a technical topic relevant to community-led development, where members unlearn traditional, top-down practices and relearn them from each other in a community-led way.
Trainings on the Participatory CLD Assessment Tool
Two-day virtual or in-person trainings on an international development tool designed to stimulate conversation around key characteristics of community-led development.
Responding to the COVID-19 series
Monthly calls with partners and organizations around the world to discuss their responses to the pandemic. The calls were a place for these organizations to collectively brainstorm solutions to problems they were facing and to build international solidarity during this crisis.
