Majority World Voice: how to organize inclusive events

A new guidance document from local actors on designing events on locally-led development, with local actors, by local actors, and for local actors.

Since November 2023, over 1800 Majority World actors and community-based organizations have come together in one voice to lay out what inclusion would look like for convenings on locally-led development.

INGOs and funders have also committed to improving practices, actively listening, and standing in solidarity. To best do so, they have asked for concrete recommendations for implementing the principles in our letter.

In response to this call, The Movement for Community-led Development (MCLD), CIVICUS and Peace Direct collaborated with the Majority World signatories of the original letter to co-create a guidance document.
