Commitments of our Privacy Policy 

• This Privacy Statement takes into account applicable guidelines including the Association of Fundraising Professional’s Donor Bill of Rights and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 
• MCLD will never sell your personal information. 
• Your security matters. MCLD keeps its records in the Google Cloud which is encrypted and protected.
• If we ever change any of these policies, we will post those changes on this site so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone. 

What do we mean when we say “personal information”?

• Payment information

When do we collect personal information? 

• When you donate via our website. 
• When you contact us via our online form, e-mail or phone. 
• When you subscribe to our newsletter. 

When do we collect personal information? 

We collect and/or utilize personal information in the following instances.

1. Online Giving: Our website is linked to Paypal to provide investors with a safe, secure and private facility for making online credit-card gifts. 
2. Donor Records: MCLD does not sell, disclose or share information with other organizations. We provide information about major contributions to tax authorities as required by law. MCLD only grants access to investor records to MCLD authorized persons who have signed agreements respecting the confidentiality of these records. 
3. Email Subscription: We will send you emails approximately 1-2 times per month to update you on MCLD programs and news. If you ever decide you do not want these updates, you can change your preference, unsubscribe, or email a request to be removed to info@mcld.org. 
4. Web Logging: Web server software routinely logs sessions. MCLD does not keep or use any information that links your web usage to your identity except in those cases where you specifically want us to have the information, e.g. when sending us order or subscription information, or when participating in surveys and study groups.
5. Cookies: We do not use cookies on our website.
