MCLD launched in Liberia in July 2020, where we are supported by a group of truy local organizations. The group also participates in a joint West Africa regional effort of the Movement to build out private sector cooperation in the region.

MCLD Liberia has been effectively engaging new members and initiating programs that will create solidarity to enhance sustainable and resilient communities. Members in Liberia engaged and advocated for local children and students in 2024, and plan to continue to do so. A highlight for Association members in 2024 was participating in the West African Regional Participatory CLD Assessment Training Tool in Benin. Members plan to continue to apply the knowledge from the training across Liberia.
