Our featured speaker this month was Danny Sriskandarajah, chief executive of Oxfam GB and former head of Civicus, a global alliance dedicated to strengthening civil society around the world.
Danny described the transformation underway at Oxfam — towards a future where their current program countries are more in charge of their own development. He quoted Barney Tallack who wrote “There are several future paths for INGOs – three possible paths are to transform, die well or die badly.”

We also heard the progress of national chapters around the world, including progress of people in Nigeria to receive a legal registration certificate, and the official launch of the Liberia chapter.
The Movement has formed a new Covid-19 CLD Adaptation working group, and is launching a new newsletter to inform policy makers worldwide of our progress.
