During our July Global Call, we shared updates from some of our recent key events, including MCLD’s first Global Assembly meeting, which was held on July 24.
The Global Assembly is an integral part of MCLD’s new structure and functions as our overarching decision-making body. The Assembly comprises of members of every recognized National Association, plus representation from regions where we do not have National Associations yet. Each National Association has elected members to serve the Global Assembly for a one- or two-year term. During the meeting, the Assembly selected a chair, Jill LaLonde (OneVillage Partners,) and vice-chair, Doris Fatima Webber (MCLD Sierra Leone, WAADO).
