On September 14, 2023, in Nairobi Kenya, the Movement for Community-Led Development (MCLD) and Africa Biodiversity Collaborative Group (ABCG) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will see the two organizations collaborate to strengthen community-led approaches in biodiversity conservation and climate actions.
Over the next five years, ABCG and MCLD Kenya will also work together to design initiatives that will help elevate community voices on matters sustainable biodiversity conservation.
Present during the event were teams led by ABCG’s Executive Director, Rubina James, and MCLD’s Steve Ogutu. The two expressed their organizations’ commitments for the successful implementation of the MoU.
