The humanitarian-development-peace nexus is a long-term strategic approach for building resilience to natural disasters and conflict. This triple nexus dialogue aims to create structural shifts across the aid system, and influence how aid is planned, financed, coordinated, and delivered. Resilience building requires a synergy between humanitarian response, sustainable development strategies, and peacebuilding.
