The theme for the fifth day of our campaign is Capacity Development. Our collaborative research team’s description for Capacity Development demonstrates the complexity and interconnected nature of the term. Within CLD programs, Capacity Development appears such that the program is rooted in the belief that communities have the capacity and capability to script their own development; hence the program invests considerably in facilitators, as well as the capacity development of local groups, including locally elected government (if they are part of the process).
