Day 8: Community Assets

The 11 Days for Community-led Development highlights characteristics of CLD that our collaborative research team found during their collaborative research. To hear more about their findings, register for our January 27th event, Local Means Local.

Today’s theme is Community Assets. We believe in amplifying a community’s resources instead of highlighting its shortcomings. Our collaborative research team describes Community Assets in the following way: the program identifies, mobilizes, and celebrates local resources including finances, material goods, and local knowledge and time.

Hear from Dr. Rebecca, Founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Caring, Empowerment, and Peace Initiatives (CCEPI) and Sera Bulbul, MCLD and The Hunger Project.
