For the past eight months, citizens, community-based organizations, community leaders, development partners, and government officials have been coming together to learn about the practices of community-led development. The School for Devolution and Community-led Development in Makueni County, Kenya, was launched on March 16, 2023 by Governor Mutula and Dr. Coonrod. The School is a result of a five-year Memorandum of Understanding between MCLD and the County Government of Makueni to strengthen CLD to tackle development challenges.
