Description: The LCI created this learning package for face-to-face workshops focused on developing an advocacy strategy, specifically to advocate for policy change to address barriers to HIV prevention, care, and treatment services. Although it was designed for local organizations that are working on HIV and AIDS advocacy issues, the activities and examples could be adapted by subject matter experts to address other health or social welfare issues. The learning package consists of this facilitator’s manual, PowerPoint slides, and participant handouts to use during the sessions and as job aids after the workshop conclude.

It can be helpful to use this as a sample facilitator manual or as a model for other similar workshops. However, there is some overlapping content with other training materials, so it may not be as helpful for general use,
